The internet can be a dangerous place. A CNN producer, John Griffin is accused of using messaging apps to hunt vulnerable young girls and then luring them to his ski house in Vermont for the purpose of “sexually subservience training”.

CNN’s producer was arrested by FBI agents on three counts of attempting to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity. It’s being reported that Kik and Google Hangout were his favorite stalking apps.

But the FBI has known about John Griffin’s sexually deviant behavior since at least April 2020. He is accused of conducting a virtual training session that involved a 14-year-old in April last year, and is accused of inviting a 9-year-old and a 16-year-old to the ski house in June, after he paid the mother $3,000! So why did it take the FBI and prosecutors another year and a half to arrest him?
