Bleckley County Sheriff Kris Coody was arrested at a sheriff’s convention for allegedly groping Judge Glenda Hatchett. He was charged with sexual battery.
Judge Hatchett is famous for the TV series where she listen to small case claims and showed how she “used tough love on out-of-control juvenile offenders” and “settled paternity disputes with DNA testing”.
“WSB identified Hatchett as the victim because she wanted her story told.
The Bleckley Sheriff’s Office issued a statement which read, in part, ‘It would be improper for Sheriff Coody to contact the other party at this time, but he looks forward to personally expressing his regrets for any offense at the appropriate opportunity,’” reported WJCL 22.
