An Onslow County School teacher is facing more charges after being charged with 19 counts of secretly recording undressed students last week.

Stephen Bera, a teacher at New Bridge Middle School allegedly secretly installed video recording devices in his classroom and somehow recorded students that were not even dressed.
WNCT’s Claire Curry reports Bera was given a court-appointed lawyer and ordered to appear in court again on May 23. Friday evening, new charges and warrants were brought against Bera. Ten children were identified as victims and warrants were obtained for the additional charges. The investigation is ongoing.
