David Rowan, a 66 year-old pastor from Milton Florida died from an “apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound” in a parking garage in Rutherford County Tennessee awaiting a jury’s verdicts on multiple sex crimes charges he faced. He was accused of sexually assaulting two teenage sisters in 2014 when he visited Tennessee from Florida as a guest speaker.

Officers found Rowan in his car on the second floor of the Rutherford County Justice Center parking garage in downtown Murfreesboro deceased from a single gunshot wound. Foul play is not suspected. He was awaiting a jury’s verdict when the incident occurred. The case is still under investigation by police.
